Are you passionate about providing children with high quality healthy food? Are you looking for a challenge? If so, this could be the job for you – come and lead our committed and friendly catering team at Countess Wear Community School. 

We are looking for someone who: 

* is passionate about nutrition and cooking using high quality ingredients 

* has knowledge of nutritional standards and can provide an exciting and balanced menu 

* will support the school’s commitment to develop positive and healthy lunchtimes, integrating the school’s ethos and values 

* has the drive to expand our production kitchen (currently cooking for Countess Wear and Clyst Heath Primary Schools) 

is willing to undertake training or can manage the functions of the kitchen including Health and Safety, food safety controls, COSHH, the catering budget, food suppliers and the catering team.

Mealtime Assistant for 5 days a week 8.5 hours a week, term time only

We are seeking to recruit a Mealtime Assistant for the lunchtime period for 5 days a week, term time only.

You will need to be patient and caring and enjoy working with children.  The position involves helping children with their lunch and supporting them in the playground with games and play.

This position is initially temporary due to budget restrictions and pupil numbers and will be reviewed in the Summer term
